❓ What are the types of boiler cover plans available?
- Cover Plan: Annual boiler service; annual carbon monoxide test; discounts of 5% on breakdown labour, parts, and other services.
- Cover Plus Plan: Includes all above + annual water system test; priority & 24h emergency call‑outs; 10% discounts.
- Premium Cover Plan: All Plus features + breakdown discounts up to 12%; out-of-hours service discount; full system coverage.
❓ Is there a waiting period before I can claim?
Yes. All plans include a 30-day waiting period from the start of the contract during which no claims are permitted. This prevents cover for pre-existing issues and helps keep premiums competitive.
❓ Is this an insurance policy?
No — this is a maintenance contract, not regulated by the FCA, and intended strictly for domestic boilers at residential properties. ❓ What’s included in an annual service?
- Service by a Gas Safe-qualified engineer, aligned with manufacturer guidelines
- Emissions check (flue gas analyser), gas pressure checks, condensate trap cleaning, magnetic filter cleaning, safety devices test
- Inspection for leaks or defects in radiators and hot water cylinder
- Gas tightness test if required
❓ What is the system water test?
Included in Cover Plus and Premium plans, this annual test assesses the system water quality. It may require further (potentially chargeable) treatment work depending on results.
❓ How does carbon monoxide testing work?
All plans include an annual CO test. If no detector is installed, All Services 4U Ltd will install one at no additional cost.
❓ What response times can I expect?
PlanBreakdown before 5 Weekend/bank holiday callouts, Cover Plus~6 hours~8 hours, Premium Cover~4 hours~4 hours
Times depend on workload and service availability.
❓ How many call-outs are included each year?
- Cover Plan: 1 breakdown call-out
- Cover Plus Plan: Up to 3 call-outs
- Premium Cover Plan: Up to 6 call-outs
Parts are always chargeable separately. Labour is discounted per plan level.
❓ Are out-of-hours services available?
Yes—Premium plan offers discounts for out-of‑hours services (evenings until ~8 pm or weekends). Subject to availability. ❓ What loyalty discounts are provided?
Customers receive loyalty discounts on other All Services 4U Ltd services like locksmith or electrical:
- Cover Plan: 5%
- Cover Plus: 10%
- Premium: 12%
❓ What is not covered?
- Breakdowns due to sludge, scale, or deposits—these may require independent water quality testing (chargeable if system fails)
- Issues with water or gas mains, meters, or electricity supply
- Pre-existing faults or installation defects
- Drain blockages impacting boiler
- Cosmetic parts, Structural building failures ❓ Can I cancel at any time?
The contract includes no free cancellation period after the initial 30‑day waiting period. You may cancel, but fees may apply if a service or renewal has already taken place. Review your right to cancel during the initial 14‑day cooling-off period separately.
You can cancel within 14 days of the plan’s start date and receive a refund, provided no service or claim has occurred.
